Evan Forrester

Evan Forrester co-anchors the weekday newscasts with Heather Warner. He also serves as the Assistant News Director for FOX43 News at Ten. He's been the main co-anchor of the emmy award winning newscast since its inception in 1994.

Evan graduated from West York High School, and then earned his communications degree from Shippensburg University. Since 1986 Evan has anchored and reported for television stations KMOV-TV in St. Louis Missouri, WHP-TV in Harrisburg, WPBF-TV in West Palm Beach Florida, WFMZ-TV in Allentown Pennsylvania, and WOAY-TV in Oak Hill West Virginia. Over the past 21 years, Evan has earned numerous journalism awards, including several Emmy awards and nominations. In 2000, Shippensburg University's Communications/Journalism Department awarded Evan the Outstanding Alumnus Award for professional achievement.

Evan is active with several community organizations and charities. He currently serves as an executive board Vice President for the York-Adams Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He's an associate board member for America's 911 foundation, and he serves on the advisory board of Shippensburg University's College of Arts and Sciences.

Evan is married with one son and one daughter. His interests include boating on the Chesapeake Bay, golf, rugby, and riding his Harley-Davidson whenever possible!
