Melissa McCormick
 Melissa McCormick began working for FOX43 News in February 2006. She is excited to be reporting in her home state of Pennsylvania!
Melissa grew up in Greensburg, just southeast of Pittsburgh, a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and the University of Pittsburgh. She double-majored in Communication and Political Science.
Melissa always knew she wanted to be a journalist, so she started early, anchoring her high school morning news show. She also anchored and reported for several college television stations.
But it was Melissa's internships at WPGH and KDKA in Pittsburgh that really led her down her career path. Before graduating, Melissa became an associate producer for WPGH. She was later promoted to the full-time Weekend Producer where she produced a variety of shows, including the nationally known Sago Mine Accident in West Virginia and the Pittsburgh Steelers Road to Super Bowl XL. Yes, she is a Black and Gold Fan!
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends! She also loves traveling, still photography, running and trying new things!
Melissa very much enjoys reporting all different types of stories. She would love to hear your story ideas!
