Heather Warner
Heather Warner joined the FOX43 "News at Ten" team in August of 2003. Heather co-anchors the weekday newscasts with Evan Forrester.
Heather grew up in central Pennsylvania, graduating from Dallastown High School and Kutztown University.
She began her career in 1998, as a reporter and anchor at WDTV in Bridgeport, West Virginia. While there, Heather won a Best Feature AP Award for her work on her series, "Remembering our Veterans." Heather was also a member of the WDTV anchor team when the station won its first AP Awards for Best Regularly Scheduled Newscast and Best News Production.
Heather moved back to her hometown of York, Pennsylvania for a position at WGAL as a general assignment reporter in August 2000. In 2003, she joined the team at FOX 43 as one of the main anchors.
Heather is very active with community organizations, spending a lot of time working on different projects with the American Red Cross, The American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, and The York County Library System. In the past, she has also worked as a counselor at summer youth camps, volunteered for Easter Seal's horseback riding for the handicapped, and has been active in the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Heather also enjoys spending time in schools in central Pennsylvania, sharing her experiences as a journalist.
Heather and her husband Brandon live in York and just welcomed a newborn son into their family in September. She enjoys spending time with her family and her English bulldog, Sasha.
